HIV Community Link is continuing to provide services in Calgary and Medicine Hat. While our office doors are closed temporarily, we are actively providing support by phone and through outreach. We are working on developing new ways to offer some of our services, such as online education and delivery services to our registered clients. For updated information, visit our COVID-19 Update Page.
The Well Program offers a safe space and support for people who are pregnant. Our pregnancy support worker and nurses connect individuals and families to services and resources based on each person’s unique goals. The Well team can work with you from when you find out you are pregnant (we confirm with a test) and support you for 6 months after the end of your pregnancy, based on the choice you make.
Well works with people living in the Medicine Hat area and who are experiencing barriers such as homelessness, substance use and previous involvement with Child and Family Services in order to:
- Improve access to health services;
- Improve access to social services and community resources;
- Improve psychological wellness, coping and general well being.
Well is a non-judgmental and voluntary program that works from a harm-reduction model. No appointment needed.
