HIV Community Link is continuing to provide services in Calgary and Medicine Hat. While our office doors are closed temporarily, we are actively providing support by phone and through outreach. We are working on developing new ways to offer some of our services, such as online education and delivery services to our registered clients. For updated information, visit our COVID-19 Update Page.
HIV Community Link provides confidential and empathetic support to people affected by HIV, hepatitis C, and people who use drugs in Medicine Hat and the surrounding areas. Our staff will receive you in a non-judgmental setting and help guide you to resources that will be of most use to you in your unique situation.
How can we support you? We offer a wide range of support and educational services for our clients and community:
- Medicine Hat Cares Centre: a safe space to connect with services and our staff
- Safer injection and safer sex supplies
- Supportive counselling and case management available in person or on the phone
- Community resources: we provide connections to services such as addiction treatment, basic need, and employment support
